Access to St. Luke's
Disabled Parking
There is limited space for car parking and there are no designated spaces. On Sundays, however, the space in front of the church, reached from Hatfield Road, is reserved for Dropping off and disabled parking only.
If you are driving to the Church Centre, reached from the Wellsway entrance, there are two parking spaces beside the building, but it would be best to phone ahead so Polly can make sure one of these will be clear for you.
There are currently steps between the Church and the Centre, with paths around via Wellsway or through the grounds. The site is hilly.
The main Church Building
We have plans to make the whole building fully accessible to all and we hope that construction work will start later in 2008.
The building is currently accessed by a stepped entrance. A temporary wheelchair ramp is available. Please ask for any help you require. We regret that the only toilet currently in the church is downstairs. Please request assistance to access the disabled toilet in the Church centre.
St. Luke’s Church Centre
This is a modern conversion with full wheelchair access, a disabled toilet on the ground floor and a lift to the first floor.
