Children and young people
There’s lots going on for children at St. Luke’s Church Centre on Sundays and during the week. Our full time Youth Worker, Colin Prudhoe, provides after school and evening activities for 11-18 year olds in the Youth Lounge, which is situated in the crypt of the church.

Summer Holiday Club – August 11-15th 2008
Each year in the summer holidays we run a week-long children’s Holiday Club. This consists of games, crafts, competitions, and Christian teaching. Under 5’s meet in the Church Centre and the 5 to 11’s meet in the church building itself which is totally transformed for the week. Some parents and carers like to stay around and chat after picking up the children, so this year we are making it possible for you to meet each other over coffee in the Centre. Children’s places are limited and you will need to book in advance. More details will be posted on this site as they are confirmed.
Easter Funday
Each year we have an “Eggciting Eggstravaganza of Eggstraordinary Eggscitement.”
Lot’s of activities for the kids including Easter biscuit making, crafts, the Easter Story, drama, songs, games, competitions and food. The date for Easter Fun Day 2009 will be announced nearer the time, and you will need to pre-book places.
