Open Church
If you live close to St. Luke’s and are at home, or passing through on week days, then the church is open most mornings between 10.30 and 1.00 for you to come and visit.
Tea (including herb and fruit infusions!) coffee and biscuits are served, and you can sit and chat, wander round the building, pray or spend some time in quiet, look at the books in the library or purchase a book from the small display we keep there. You can also buy or place an order for Fair Trade food products or gifts.
You are also welcome to join us in Morning Prayers at Ten Minutes for God at 10.15 Monday to Friday.
On the third Wednesday of every month the Mothers’ Union have prayers in the church followed by Holy Communion at 10.30. All are welcome to attend but there is no Open Church on this day.
The church is sometimes in use during the morning, for example for a wedding or funeral in which case Open Church will not take place.
If in doubt, contact us in the church office
