Baptisms...

For the children on Sundays...

Xplorers

During term-times, Xplorers gather all together in the Centre after the first part of the service. Each session will include games, Bible stories, puzzles, crafts and songs with items and activities appropriate for all ages.

Xplorers is led by an experienced team, including Andy Pymer, Margaret Birks, Sue Dimond, Cathy Harding & Clare Jones. All children who are at school and are happy to be left by their parents are welcome.

Candlelights

For younger, or less confident children, Candlelights (in the Crypt) offers little children a chance to learn about and to worship God with their parents. Candlelights is led by Tracy Prudhoe with a team of volunteers. An organised crèche takes place there throughout the morning services and you are welcome to come and go during the service as necessary.

Lighthouse

This is an event for children and their families on the third Sunday morning of each month. It lasts about 45 minutes and is packed with songs, stories, activities, video and a chance to learn about God together.

...during the week...

Chatterbox

For parents with babies and toddlers, Chatterbox provides a place to meet and relax, where little ones will be safe and can play together. Join us between 9:30 and 11:30 on alternate Thursdays in the Centre. There are occasional services on Thursday mornings for the under 5’s with songs, prayers, and fun.

Check the weekly notices for the dates of children’s activities, or contact us.

GUIDES (10-14)
These are affiliated youth organisations for girls and meet on Thursdays – Brownies 6.00 - 7.15pm; Guides 7.15 - 9pm. They both have annual trips away.
